Why we show you the base rate, not the prediction

The most useful — and most honest — thing a market tool can tell you isn't what will happen. It's how often something like this has worked before.

There is no shortage of confidence in markets. Every timeline is full of people who are certain about the next move. Reprisa is built on the opposite instinct: the most valuable thing we can give you is not certainty, it's the base rate.

What a base rate is

A base rate is simply: out of all the times something like this set up before, how often did it play out a given way? It's the difference between "this will go up" and "in similar conditions historically, this resolved higher more often than not — here's the sample, and here's when it didn't."

One of those is a prediction you have to take on faith. The other is a fact about history you can weigh yourself. We build around the second one.

Why this matters for our signals

Reprisa's Trade Signals come from setups we backtested across roughly a thousand stocks over many years of daily data. When we describe how a setup has behaved, that description traces back to that testing — not to a number we wish were true. We deliberately keep inflated win-rate claims off the product, because a win rate is partly just a dial you turn with your exit rules; the honest measure is how a strategy actually paid out across a decade of very different markets.

A tool that only ever tells you it's right is telling you nothing. The base rate is honest precisely because it includes the times it didn't work.

This is research, not advice

Everything Reprisa produces is informational — historical context and analysis, not personalized financial advice, and never a promise about the future. Past market behavior doesn't guarantee future results. That disclaimer isn't fine print we're obligated to include; it's the same honesty the whole product is built on.

If that sounds less exciting than a tip that's going to make you rich by Friday — good. The market is full of those, and they're why serious investors are looking for something that treats them like adults. That's who we built Reprisa for.

Reprisa is a research and information tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation, and past market behavior does not guarantee future results.

See it on the market you're watching.
